1 Jul 2013 - 9:52

All political, religious leaders and Muslim nations are mandated to prevent Takfiri Sheikhs and their followers to preach.

Grand Ayatollah Mohsen Araki, Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, issued a statement condemning brutal behavior of Takfiri groups towards Shia community in Egypt, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

He wrote that the people have witnessed another part of crimes committed by Takfiri groups in Egypt which has long been a land of culture, thoughts, unity and Islamic proximity.

Iranian cleric in this message noted that the crime has nothing to do with Islamic principles and Egyptian nation who are famous for their pacifist and friendly views.

“These crimes are committed by Takfiri Sheikhs who have mated old Arab ignorance with modern western ignorance and their illegitimate child is Takfir, terrorism and massacre in Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Pakistan and Egypt.” said the cleric.

The message has also urged all Muslim clerics and elites in Islamic countries to warn the people against Takfiri movement since the issue is the biggest threat for Islamic nations.

It has also demanded all political, religious leaders and Muslim nations to prevent Takfiri Sheikhs and their followers to preach.

Touching upon the necessity of friendship among people, the message also mandates Muslim scholars and media in Muslim countries to spread the spirit of friendship, fraternity and peace among nations and call the people to confront disunity and maintain proximity.

Part of this message reads,” World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought demands Egyptian leaders particularly scholars in Al Azhar to return Egypt, the cradle of civilization, unity and proximity, to its top stance among Muslim countries.

Iran’s Muslim unity center in its message expressed hope that Egyptian brothers reappear an Islamic government in their country and disappoint the Zionists and intelligent services of the arrogant powers that support Takfiris and terrorists to fuel disagreement among Islamic nation.
