Pakistani political and religious officials have called for boycotting of French products following the speech by French President, Emanuel Macron defending the reprinting of sacrilegious cartoons disrespecting Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).
 
Pakistani Prime Minister, Imran Khan, has censured the remarks by Emanuel Macron as "insult against Islam" and summoned French ambassador. This is while this week the Friday prayers in Karachi and Lahore were followed by massive protest of the prayers condemning the desecration of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).


Some Muslim countries have also called for boycotting of French products to show objection against the sacilegious cartoon and supporive stance of the French president.
