Sheikh Afraz in an interview with (TNA):

Unity and proximity are the result of the guidance of the martyred leader

The Sunni Friday Prayer Leader of Sirik, Hormozgan, stated: "Unity and proximity in the south of the country, which today has become a barrier against the enemies' aggression against the integrity of Islamic Iran, are the result of the guidance of the martyred leader. This unity has today been strengthened around the axis of the leadership of the revolution and has become an exemplary solidarity that must gain consistency and durability."
Unity and proximity are the result of the guidance of the martyred leader
Sheikh Abdul Aziz Afraz, the Sunni Friday Prayer Leader of Sirik, Hormozgan, in an interview with the Taghrib News Agency (TNA), emphasizing the consolidation of unity, not fearing the events and tragedies of the time, and referring to the Quran and the Prophetic tradition, stated: "Almighty God says in the Holy Quran: 'Unquestionably, for the allies of God there is no fear, nor will they grieve.' Be aware that the friends of God never have any fear of the future events of the world, nor any regret or sorrow from the past events of the world in their hearts. The recent and current events become easy with unity and solidarity, because by holding fast to the rope of the noble Prophet of Islam, an opportunity can be created to consolidate unity and brotherhood between Sunni and Shia brothers."

Sheikh Afraz stated: "Therefore, the hardships that have come upon the Islamic Ummah are a blessing from Almighty God, because a human being is always placed between two arcs and parentheses – or at two points: the beginning, 'Indeed, we belong to God,' and the end, 'and indeed, to Him we will return.' Therefore, when we look at matters in this way – that Almighty God has ownership over human beings, and rationally no owner harms their own property – we will conclude that Almighty God is the Most Merciful of the merciful, and every hardship from Him will be a blessing and mercy for the worlds."

This Sunni scholar stated: "To emerge from the current conditions and achieve victory, we must move behind the insightful leadership. Although the absence of the martyred leader is felt, the centrality of the leadership of the revolution for preserving unity and acting upon the recommendations of the martyred leader can greatly smooth the path."

In conclusion, he emphasized: "Unity and rapprochement in the south of the country, which today has become a barrier against the enemies' aggression against the integrity of Islamic Iran, are the result of the guidance of the martyred leader. This unity has today been strengthened around the axis of the leadership of the revolution and has become an exemplary solidarity that must gain consistency and durability."
