Akhund Yaqub Ibri, a professor and Friday Prayer Leader of the Sunni Seminary of Chay Buiin, Gonbad-e Kavus, in an interview with the Taghrib News Agency (TNA), emphasizing reliance on the thoughts of the martyred leader in promoting convergence and synergy of unity among Muslims, stated: "In the issue of unity and rapprochement, the role of the leader's thoughts in this convergence is among the most effective roles, especially this year, when we witnessed the martyrdom of our dear leader, the leader of the Ummah, Imam Seyyed Ali Hosseini Khamenei – his absence was felt more than ever."
Akhund Ibri stated: "Islamic unity was founded in the history of the Islamic Republic of Iran by Imam Khomeini, the founder of the Islamic Revolution, was watered by our martyred Imam, and became a mighty tree. Now it is our duty, for the first time that our dear leader is not among us, to display this unity to the world through our presence and our unity."
This scholarly figure of rapprochement stated: "Our duty is to follow God, the Prophet, and the Guardians of the Command, as Almighty God says in the Holy Quran: 'Obey God and obey the Messenger and those in authority among you,' so that we do not become divided and weak."
In conclusion, he emphasized: "Today, the rightful successor and righteous heir of our dear and martyred leader is Imam Seyyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei, whom we must follow so that this unity becomes a heavy blow against global arrogance."
