Mawlawi Ibrahim Bargazi, an Afghan scholar, in an interview with the Taghrib News Agency (TNA), regarding unity in the conduct of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), stated: "Almighty God, regarding His beloved, says: 'There has certainly been for you in the Messenger of God an excellent pattern' – meaning that the existence of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) is a model for you."
He explained: "In politics, jihad, calling to Islam, ethics, transactions, and the way the Prophet of Islam (PBUH) interacted with his wife, children, relatives, followers of other religions, and companions, there is a lesson and model for us."
Mawlawi Ibrahim Bargazi added: "One who considers themselves a follower of the noble Prophet (PBUH) is obligated to make the Prophet's (PBUH) ethics a model for themselves in daily life."
He further, regarding recent developments in the Islamic world and the enemies' efforts to weaken Muslims and the necessity of Islamic unity, stated: "There is no doubt that today Muslims must unite with one another. If today Muslims, especially the clerical class and scholars, whether Shia or Sunni, do not unite, they will harm themselves. Because when Imam Mahdi (AJ) appears, the first sword he will strike will be against those scholars in society who did not preserve religion and did not convey the principles and laws of religion to the people, but rather created distance between the people and these laws."
This Afghan scholar said: "Now is the best time for all Muslims, especially politicians, preachers, researchers, and scholars of the Islamic Ummah, to, through their unity, inflict failure and humiliation on Jewish and Zionist politicians, and make salvation and success in this world and the hereafter their own."
In another part of his remarks, regarding the role of the enemies in awakening Muslims and confronting the enemies' tools against Muslims, he noted: "You and I are witnessing that the enemy uses every weapon against Muslims, including the fact that Western media is in the hands of the enemy. For example, the enemy propagates that Sunnis in Iran face problems in matters such as their mosques and seminaries, while this is not the case. Similarly, propaganda against Afghanistan, while today women have gained many of their rights that they were previously deprived of, such as dowry and inheritance."
Mawlawi Ibrahim Bargazi continued: "The enemy knows that Iranian and Afghan youth, both men and women, do not accept slavery and subjugation, so it tries to create ethnic and religious differences through the media and create division among Muslims, and by creating takfiri groups, pit Muslims against each other and create an opportunity for the Jews and Zionism to advance their projects."
He further, referring to the verse of the Holy Quran that says: "And prepare against them whatever you are able of power and of steeds of war by which you may terrify the enemy of God and your enemy," emphasized: "Today, the greatest weapon against enemies is the unity of Muslims."
This Afghan scholar considered the most important legacy of the martyred leader to be support for Gaza, and said: "Although the majority of brothers in the Islamic Republic follow the Ja'fari school, they help Muslims in Gaza.
