The enemies are making extensive efforts to create rifts among ethnic groups and denominations

Hujjat al-Islam Seyyed Ebrahim Tabatabai, in an interview with the Taghrib News Agency (TNA), warning against the existence of deviant currents such as "English Shia" and "Wahhabism" that seek to create discord among denominations, emphasized: "The enemy, by investing in less than five percent of differences, seeks to weaken unity, and we must not allow this conspiracy to succeed."

Referring to the widespread efforts of the enemies to create rifts among ethnic groups and denominations, he stated: "The enemies have formed think tanks and are investing to create discord between Shia and Sunni, because the more united Muslims are, the more they will fail in their evil goals."

The Friday Prayer Leader of Salmas, exposing the nature of deviant currents, said: "The so-called English Shia current neither cares for Shia nor is it committed to the teachings of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS) and the instructions of the two Imams of the Revolution. Likewise, Wahhabism is not a true defender of Sunnis. These two currents were created only to sow discord and are funded by arrogance."

He continued: "The Holy Prophet (PBUH) always called for unity and cohesion among various tribes, including the Aws and Khazraj, and among the Muhajirun and Ansar. Today, our duty is to continue this path."

Hujjat al-Islam Tabatabai, praising the establishment of Unity Week by Imam Khomeini (RA), said: "This unity in West Azerbaijan province and Salmas is a permanent and ongoing matter, not limited to a single week."

Quoting the Supreme Leader of the Revolution, who said: "Whoever fuels discord is a mercenary of the enemy," and also his will to inscribe "unity" on his shroud, he emphasized the necessity of refraining from insulting each other's sanctities, and noted: "These wills carry a clear message for the continuation of unity and confronting the conspiracies of the enemies."
