Ayatollah Ali Khatami, the representative of the Supreme Leader and former Friday Prayer Leader of Zanjan, in an interview with the Taghrib News Agency (TNA), stated: "The media of the Islamic world must be vigilant and awake. Despite the weaknesses and shortcomings, journalists have entered the field with all their might."

He stated: "One of the points that allows the media to navigate their path with power is reliance on shared principles and unity."

Ayatollah Khatami stated: "Therefore, given that the enemies seek to influence the thoughts and beliefs of nations and have continuously tried to advance their hard war objectives through examples of soft war and to distance the nation from awareness and awakening, the duty of media professionals and journalists becomes grave."

This Shia scholar stated: "In the current situation, we must wear the mantle of compassion and support for the Islamic system and the Guardianship of the Jurist more than ever. What is needed today is insight, vigilance, and awareness."

In conclusion, he emphasized: "As a result of the efforts that media professionals and journalists make in united ranks to support Islam, God willing, the unity of the media of the Islamic world will be formed, and all will work towards a common goal to support Muslims and the oppressed, and will repair and cover the distorted image that has today been damaged by some Muslims and rulers of Islamic countries."
