The media of the Islamic Ummah must strive to eliminate ambiguities and deviations

Sheikh Rahbar, the Sunni Friday Prayer Leader of Kangan, in an interview with the Taghrib News Agency (TNA), emphasized the importance of the mission of journalism, and stated: "Among the duties of journalists and those active in this field is conveying the goals, ideals, and values of the revolution to the world. In truth, it is the lofty values of the Islamic Revolution of Iran that have brought dignity, independence, and freedom to the oppressed nations of the world."

Sheikh Rahbar stated: "Efforts must be made to convey to the world this path of the revolution, which is founded on truth and justice, and in whose radiance unity and cohesion lie. These media and journalistic activities must be expanded to overcome the enemies' plots, and as our martyred leader said, we must always act more dynamically in the Second Step of the Revolution."

This Sunni scholar stated: "Just as the enemy's propaganda apparatuses of soft war constantly operate alongside hard war, the media and propaganda apparatus of the Islamic Ummah must powerfully strive to eliminate ambiguities and deviations."

He stated: "Hard war requires military tools such as missiles, satellites, and so on. Soft war also requires expert, aware, and insightful journalists who can, in this arena, work doubly against the enemy's negative propaganda and neutralize their plots."

In conclusion, he emphasized: "Another goal of our dear journalists is to create a transparent and trustworthy space for society – a society that is constantly targeted and harmed by the enemies. Our dear journalists must intelligently and powerfully stand against the enemy's media and actively strive in this arena to defend the Islamic establishment."
