Islamic unity is the enduring legacy of the martyred leader of the revolution

Mamosta Jalal Moradi, the interim Sunni Friday Prayer Leader of Qorveh, in an interview with the Taghrib News Agency (TNA), referring to the lofty thoughts of the martyred leader of the Islamic Revolution, stated: "His always unity-oriented view, whether in his statements, sermons, or advice, always emphasized the necessity of establishing unity among Muslims, not only in Iran but at the regional level and throughout the Islamic world. His Eminence, who was nurtured in the school of the Quran, based on religious teachings, always considered Islamic power and unity as one of the vital priorities of the Islamic world."

He added: "The practical approach of the martyred leader in supporting the oppressed of the world, especially the oppressed people of Palestine and the Gaza Strip, and supporting the Resistance Axis against oppression and global arrogance, was a tangible manifestation of his commitment to the ideals of the Islamic Revolution and Imam Khomeini. These supports, today after his martyrdom, have further highlighted his position as a symbol of anti-arrogance in the world."

This Sunni scholar, citing Quranic teachings and the conduct of the prophets, noted: "Anti-arrogance is the inherent duty of every Muslim, and we are obliged to defend divine teachings and the guidance of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and the Ahl al-Bayt (AS) in the field of truth, with perseverance and steadfastness against oppression. The Resistance Axis, which has formed today in Iran, Iraq, Yemen, Lebanon, Syria, and Gaza, is a clear example of this religious duty."

In another part of his remarks, Mamosta Jalal Moradi described the historic visit of the martyred leader to Kurdistan province in 2009 as a great achievement for the Islamic Revolution, and stated: "The presence of His Eminence in Kurdistan, accompanied by a deep understanding of the ethnic, geographical, and cultural issues of the region, as well as attention to Sufi orders and Islamic mysticism, brought about brotherhood among all ethnic groups and denominations. Like a skilled physician, he prescribed the medicine of unity for each region, and no divisive point was ever observed in his statements."

Referring to the enemies' efforts to create a rift among scholars and denominations, he emphasized: "The enemies of Islam have always feared Muslim unity, because this unity prevents their influence and undermines the authority of the Islamic system. Holding unity conferences, seminars, and meetings at the international and domestic levels has always been a thorn in the eye of arrogance. Almighty God has also repeatedly warned us against division."

The interim Friday Prayer Leader of Qorveh, commemorating the lasting statements of the martyred leader in his meeting with scholars and Friday Prayer Leaders of Kurdistan, said: "His speech on that visit, which emphasized the necessity of the rule of religion in political, economic, and cultural systems, and his statement that 'if we do not establish Islamic government in Muslim countries, thousands of books are worthless,' has always been inspiring for us. He emphasized the preservation of a single sovereignty and a qualified leadership, without which Muslims would be lost."

In conclusion, Mamosta Moradi, expressing expectation from the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution (Ayatollah Khamenei) to continue the path of Martyr Soleimani and unity-building, expressed hope: "We hope that with the continuation of the path of Imam Khomeini and the martyred leader, and through holding joint meetings with Sunni scholars and experts, this great legacy will be preserved and further strengthened. It is also expected from the new leader that they will not allow any sick and divisive current, from any denomination and sect, to seek division among the Muslims of Islamic Iran, and, God willing, with consultation and solidarity, we will witness ever-increasing unity."
