Non-compromise with the killers is the first step in achieving retribution for the martyred leader

Hujjat al-Islam Najaf-Ali Qasemi, in an interview with the Taghrib News Agency (TNA), referring to the necessity of retribution for the martyred leader of the Ummah from his killers, stated: "The funeral of the most global and beloved figure in the history of Islam in the contemporary era became the most populous funeral ceremony in human history, and this love and affection for the martyred Imam became eternal in history. The most numerous slogan, demand, and main plea of all at the funeral ceremony of the martyred leader was revenge and retribution for the martyred Imam and the martyrs – the same demand that was the most important part of the message of the great Leader of the Revolution in his message of gratitude to the nation; the same demand that is the fatwa of the great religious authorities and the emphasis of officials."

According to him, this demand is in line with all religious teachings, moral principles, humanitarian values, international regulations and laws, and our religious, legal, and human right, because this retribution creates deterrence and is a powerful deterrent tool. When retribution is not taken, assassinations become a trend, so we must create a high cost for retribution for the martyred Imam by demanding revenge.

The Friday Prayer Leader of Kalaleh considered neglecting the retribution for the martyred Imam as dangerous for the country and officials, and said: "This definite and certain retribution and revenge is a national demand and a belief-based and historical conviction rooted in Karbala, not a temporary or emotional reaction."

He added: "When the enemy sees that no action is taken against it for the assassination of the leader of the revolution and it does not incur a high cost, it will also threaten the new Supreme Leader."

He said: "The enemy must pay the cost of killing an Imam. When the main slogan of millions of clenched fists is revenge, the enemy understands their message. Today, Trump sees himself at the center of this historical anger and has fallen into fear."

According to him, this definite and certain revenge and retribution is a national demand and a belief-based and historical conviction rooted in Karbala, and not a temporary or emotional reaction.

Hujjat al-Islam Qasemi, criticizing some inside the country who have raised the flag of peace with the enemy, stated: "America's mercenaries and the internal capital of the accursed Zionist regime prescribe a prescription of submission under the codename of 'honorable peace,' officially seeking to trample the unjustly shed blood, oppose resistance, and whitewash and exonerate the enemy."

He continued: "These people are the exploded American bombs in Iran; the same demands of the enemies and adversaries come out of the mouths of this infamous Westernized current, word for word. Their 'honorable peace' means surrender, and the effort of the Westernized current is to prevent the realization of the revolution's goals."

According to him, "It is only through the path of resistance and creating deterrence that one can achieve honorable peace, not through submission and compromise. The Strait of Hormuz is the weapon of our power in this war; we will never lay down this weapon. Our wellbeing in this world and the hereafter depends on unity on the line of leadership and solidarity against the enemy."
