The martyrdom of Ayatollah Khamenei breathed new life into the body of the Resistance Front
The head of Hezbollah's Baalbek region, emphasizing that the martyred Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei is the martyr of the Islamic Ummah and all the free people of the world, said: "Just as the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (AS) was a turning point in Islamic history, the martyrdom of the martyred leader of the Islamic Revolution has also brought the Resistance Front into a new phase of power, perseverance, and steadfastness against arrogance and Zionism."

Hujjat al-Islam Seyyed Faisal Shukr, the head of Hezbollah's Baalbek region, in an interview with the Taghrib News Agency (TNA), referring to the historical and civilizational status of the martyred Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, stated: "If I want to speak briefly, the martyred Ayatollah Khamenei (may God be pleased with him) is the martyr of the Islamic Ummah and the martyr of all the free people of the world. He was the founder of a great nation that moves on the path of the Messenger of God (PBUH), his companions, and the Ahl al-Bayt of the Prophet (AS)."
He added: "Ayatollah Khamenei was the continuer of the path of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) in the world among the Islamic Ummah, and the impact of his martyrdom on the Islamic Ummah, in practical terms, is like the impact of the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (AS) on this Ummah. Just as the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (AS) created a profound transformation in the thought, spirituality, morality, and spirit of the Islamic Ummah, the martyrdom of Ayatollah Khamenei (may God have mercy on him) has also given the Islamic Ummah – or as Grand Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei said, the 'Resistance Front' – new power, will, and perseverance to continue the path of resistance against global arrogance, America, global Zionism, and also against the retreat of the Arab and Islamic world from pure Muhammadan thought."
The head of Hezbollah's Baalbek region continued: "It is true that we suffered a great loss with the martyrdom of Imam Khamenei (may God have mercy on him), but just as the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (AS) was an eternal legacy and a grace from the graces of Karbala, his martyrdom also brought us a great spiritual capital. Almighty God bestowed upon him the same gift that He bestowed upon Aba Abdillah al-Hussain (AS) – the station of martyrdom."
He stated: "May God's blessings be upon him on the day he opened his eyes to the world, on the day he brought this Ummah to the shore of knowledge, insight, revolution, and resistance, and on the day he was martyred on the path of God's religion, the religion of the Messenger of God (PBUH), the religion of the Ahl al-Bayt of the Prophet (AS), and the religion of all the companions of the Messenger of God (PBUH)."
Hujjat al-Islam Seyyed Faisal Shukr, regarding the position of the Palestinian issue in the thought of the martyred leader of the Islamic Revolution, also said: "It is completely natural that the martyred Imam moved on the same path as Imam Khomeini (may God have mercy on him). It is also natural that Imam Khomeini, the martyred Imam, and the current leader, Grand Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei, are all in one row and on one path – that is, confronting global arrogance, America, and this cancerous gland that Imam Khomeini described and emphasized the necessity of its eradication from existence."
He added: "Ayatollah Khamenei did for the Palestinian revolution what no one had ever done for any other nation. He played a fundamental and decisive role in serving the Palestinian resistance. The Islamic Revolution, under the leadership of the martyred Ayatollah Khamenei, was able to return Palestine to the forefront of global issues, and once again make the Palestinian issue, the Palestinian people, and their oppression one of the most important international matters."
This Hezbollah official noted: "What we have witnessed in recent years clearly shows that without the Islamic Revolution and the leadership of the martyred Ayatollah Khamenei, neither the Palestinian resistance nor the Palestinian issue would ever have been able to regain such power and prominence in global attention."
He emphasized: "Of course, other factors have also played a role in this path, including the commitment of the Islamic Resistance and Hezbollah to the Palestinian cause, which was formed based on the guidance and will of the martyred Imam Ayatollah Khamenei."
In conclusion, Hujjat al-Islam Seyyed Faisal Shukr stated: "For us, the Palestinian issue is a central and fundamental issue, and under the flag of our new leader, Grand Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei (may God protect him), it will remain so. Palestine will always have a living and permanent presence in our souls, in our weapons, in the fists of our fighters, in our society, and among the nations of Iran, Lebanon, Iraq, Yemen, and across the entire Resistance Front."
