The funeral of the martyred leader of the revolution was a display of the unity of the Islamic Ummah and the steadfastness of the free people of the world

Sheikh Ali Ali Ibrahim Adhabi, Vice President of Dar al-Ulum al-Shar'iyya University in Al-Hudaydah, Yemen, on the sidelines of the funeral ceremony of the martyred leader of the Islamic Revolution, in an interview with the Taghrib News Agency (TNA), offering condolences to the Iranian nation and the Islamic Ummah on this loss, stated: "Our presence in Iran is to participate in the funeral ceremony and offer condolences on the passing of an Imam of the Imams of the Islamic Ummah – a personality who, in my belief, deserved the title of 'Ummah,' because he undertook a responsibility that the Islamic Ummah should have shouldered but had failed to do so."

He added: "The martyred Ayatollah Khamenei stood with all his might against American arrogance and the Zionist regime, and together with the free people of the world, raised the flag of confronting oppression and tyranny. That is why we consider him an Imam of the Imams of Muslims."

The Vice President of Dar al-Ulum al-Shar'iyya University, referring to the deep bonds between the Iranian and Yemeni nations, stated: "We have come to a brotherly and Muslim country with which we share a divine bond – the same brotherhood that Almighty God, in the Holy Quran, has made obligatory upon believers, just like prayer and fasting. This Islamic brotherhood and the recommendations of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) regarding brotherhood among Muslims were the main motivation for our presence at this ceremony and our expression of sympathy with the Iranian nation in mourning for this great figure."

He continued: "Our message from the land of faith and wisdom – Yemen – is that Islamic brotherhood should not remain merely a slogan or theoretical teaching, but must manifest in practice. Muslims must, as the Holy Prophet (PBUH) said, be like a solid structure built together."

Sheikh Adhabi, emphasizing support for the resisting nations, noted: "We declare that we will stand with all our being alongside all the free people of the world who have stood against America, the Zionist regime, and their hegemonic policies."

Referring to the role of the martyred leader of the Islamic Revolution in bringing Islamic schools of thought closer, he stated: "The actions and approaches of the martyred Ayatollah Khamenei in the path of unity of the Islamic Ummah are known to no one. He was among the most prominent figures of the contemporary era who employed all his capacity and capability to bring Islamic schools of thought closer and realize Muslim unity."

He added: "We have heard him many times calling for unity, addressing Al-Azhar, the scientific centers of the Islamic world, scholars and thinkers of various countries, including Yemen, Iraq, and Syria. His view of other Muslims was beyond brotherhood; he considered them as his 'own soul.' His goal was to realize the divine command: 'And hold fast to the rope of God all together and do not become divided.'"

The Vice President of Dar al-Ulum al-Shar'iyya University concluded by stating that the most important challenge facing the Islamic Ummah today is an intellectual challenge, and said: "The main problem of the Ummah is not a shortage of weapons or religious differences, but an intellectual battle. If we can remove the veils of ignorance from the minds of the youth and unite them in a single, solid front against global arrogance, this tyranny will disappear."

Referring to a statement by the martyred Sayyid Hussain Badr al-Din al-Houthi, he noted: "The martyred al-Houthi used to say, 'America is nothing more than straw, but no one would stand against it.' Today, since the Yemeni nation, the Palestinian people, the resistance groups in Iraq, and the Islamic Republic of Iran have stood against America, everyone has clearly seen that this hollow power, contrary to its propaganda, is vulnerable to defeat."
