Emphasizing the figure of 41 million participants in Iran and Iraq, he stated that the message of this widespread presence was the complete failure of the enemies' divisive plots and proof of the dynamism of the discourse of rapprochement within the united Islamic Ummah.
Mamosta Amjad Mahmoudi, the head of the Grand Islamic Center of Marivan County, in an interview with the Taghrib News Agency (TNA), emphasizing the unparalleled grandeur of the presence of the Iranian and Iraqi nations in the funeral and farewell ceremony of the martyred leader of the Islamic Revolution, described this great event as the true manifestation of unity, solidarity, and rapprochement of schools of thought in the Islamic world, and stated: "What took place in these historic days was not an ordinary march, but a conscious and faith-based epic, in which various Iranian ethnic groups – Kurds, Lors, Persians, and Turks – followers of different Islamic schools of thought, including Sunnis and Shiites, and even our Christian and Zoroastrian compatriots, stood side by side with fervent slogans of 'Blood Revenge' and 'Ya Hussain,' showing that artificial borders can never separate love for the leadership and commitment to the ideals of the revolution."
He added: "This unprecedented presence, which according to media estimates included a population of over 41 million people across Iran and Iraq, conveyed a clear message to the world that the Islamic system, relying on the principle of 'united Ummah,' has transcended any divisiveness, and the blood of the martyrs, especially the esteemed martyr, is a solid foundation for greater solidarity. Also, the passionate presence of the Iraqi people in Najaf and Karbala, paying tribute to this martyred leader, demonstrated the depth of influence of the discourse of resistance and his courage against global arrogance and Zionism, and proved that the axis of unity is not ethnicity nor sect, but the monotheistic truth and defense of the oppressed."
In conclusion, Mamosta Mahmoudi, while appreciating the grandeur of the presence of the Iranian and Iraqi nations, emphasized the necessity of continuing this honorable path, preserving the martyr's legacy, and providing comprehensive support for the Supreme Leader of the Revolution, and noted: "Today, more than ever, we need insight, practical unity, and avoidance of artificial differences so that the enemies, who are always seeking a rift between schools of thought, become disappointed, and the flag of rapprochement, derived from the conduct of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS), waves over the Islamic discourse."
