Russian Orthodox Priest: The Martyred Leader Attained Martyrdom by Sacrificing His Entire Life in the Path of God

Father Grigory Matrosov, a priest of the Russian Orthodox Church, expressed his pleasure at visiting Iran for the first time and participating in the funeral ceremony of the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution.

Speaking to Taghrib News Agency, Matrosov said: "The Supreme Leader of Iran sacrificed his entire life in the path of God and served his people. He lived for God until his last moment, and that is why he attained martyrdom. This is a testimony to the entire world of how we all should serve God and our people."
 
Regarding differences among Muslims, Matrosov stated: "I believe the main message of the Supreme Leader is that we must serve God. The Quran teaches that all human beings must serve and worship God."
 
He added: "Therefore, the reason for human existence on earth and the fundamental basis for being here in peace is to serve God and worship Him."
