The massive presence of the Iraqi people in the funeral of the martyred leader shows the lofty position of the Islamic Republic in the region

Hujjat al-Islam Hassan Rezaei, in an interview with the Taghrib News Agency (TNA), stated: "The funeral ceremony of the martyred leader was more than a mourning ritual, and should be considered a major regional and even international event, because the personality of the martyred leader had a profound impact on the Iranian nation and the Islamic Ummah in various scientific, religious, political, and social dimensions."

The Friday Prayer Leader of Harsin County said: "Throughout Islamic history, great scholars have been martyred unjustly, but what distinguished the martyred leader from other great figures was the comprehensiveness of his personality. Alongside his high scholarly and jurisprudential status, he had an influential and decisive presence in various fields, from connecting with youth, athletes, and artists to political management, confronting enemies, and guiding society."

This seminary professor stated: "It was natural for the Iranian nation to have such a presence at the funeral ceremony, because the people are grateful for his services and struggles. Years of various responsibilities and decades of leadership had created a great right upon the Iranian nation, and this widespread presence was a manifestation of the people's appreciation for these valuable services."

Hujjat al-Islam Rezaei continued: "One of the most important achievements of the martyred leader was reviving the spirit of hope and self-confidence among the Iranian nation. He taught us that we can stand against the world's great powers and preserve the country's independence and dignity by relying on internal capabilities. Today, the Islamic Republic of Iran, with this same spirit, stands against nuclear and arrogant powers and defends the nation's rights with authority."

Referring to America's behavior towards independent countries, he noted: "Experience has shown that whenever America feels it can achieve its goals through military attack, it has no belief in negotiations, and there are numerous examples of this behavior in various countries. Regarding Iran as well, despite imposing heavy costs, the enemies did not achieve their goals and could not break the will of the Iranian nation."

The Friday Prayer Leader of Harsin stated: "Although the loss of the martyred leader is a great loss for the Iranian nation, we should not allow this incident to cause despair. Today, it is our duty to create hope, strengthen national unity and cohesion, and explain the continuation of that same path and ideals, because the path of Wilayah continues with power, and the enemy has become despairing and hopeless from the continuation of this path."

He emphasized: "All those who have responsibility in the field of culture, media, and explanation must strive to maintain the passion and awareness created in society and prevent this great popular capital from diminishing. Also, the achievements of the Islamic Revolution and the path charted by the martyred leader must be properly explained to the younger generation."

Referring to the public demand for prosecuting the perpetrators of this crime, he acknowledged: "The first demand of the nation is retribution for the commanders and perpetrators of this action. This is not merely an emotional demand, but a legal and religious right and an important factor in creating deterrence against the enemies, so that no one dares to repeat such crimes."

The Friday Prayer Leader of Harsin added: "If this demand is not pursued seriously, the enemy might consider such criminal actions as normal. Therefore, pursuing the punishment of the perpetrators of this incident will ensure future security and deterrence."

Hujjat al-Islam Rezaei, referring to the position of the Jurist-Guardian (Wilayat al-Faqih) in the Age of Occultation, said: "According to Islamic teachings, the Jurist-Guardian is the axis of unity of Islamic society and the continuation of divine guidance, and any weakening of this position will harm the cohesion of the Islamic Ummah."

He considered the million-strong presence of the people at the funeral ceremony as the greatest social capital of the Islamic system, and stated: "This presence was not merely a popular gathering, but a display of national authority, a support for the power of the Islamic Republic, and a factor in strengthening the country's bargaining power in diplomacy and international relations."

The Friday Prayer Leader of Harsin stated: "Despite all economic problems, demands, and grievances, the Iranian people distinguish between the performance of some officials and the essence of the Islamic system and Wilayah, and never trade livelihood issues with the essence of the revolution and the system. This political maturity is a valuable asset for the Islamic Republic."

Hujjat al-Islam Rezaei, referring to the holding of the funeral ceremony in the holy cities of Iraq, noted: "The massive presence of the people in Najaf and Karbala at the funeral of the martyred leader shows that the Islamic Republic still enjoys a high spiritual position and influence in the region, and all the enemy's propaganda has not been able to destroy this deep bond."

He added: "This presence sent a clear message to the enemies: that the Islamic Republic is still an influential power in the region, and Muslim nations, despite all pressures, stand alongside the ideals of resistance, and this is considered a great defeat for the front of arrogance."

The Friday Prayer Leader of Harsin concluded by emphasizing the exalted status of the martyr in Islamic teachings, saying: "A martyr, after martyrdom, is also alive and a source of influence, and the effects of his pure blood become more apparent in society than during his lifetime. Just as the blessings of the school of great martyrs expanded after their martyrdom, the blessings of the blood of the 'martyred leader' will also become more apparent in the future. If the Iranian nation maintains its heartfelt, ideological, and practical bond with Wilayah, the future of the resistance front and the Islamic Republic will be bright, powerful, and accompanied by victory."
