The Sunni Friday prayer leader of Kharg Island said: "Participation in the funeral of the martyred leader of the revolution is a symbol of the unity of the Islamic Ummah and the authority of the Iranian nation. Certainly, the path of dignity, resistance, and unity that the Supreme Leader of the revolution charted will continue with strength."

Sheikh Ahmad Kan'ani, the Sunni Friday prayer leader of Kharg Island, in an interview with the Taghrib News Agency (TNA), once again condemning the crime of America and the Zionist regime in martyring the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, stated: "The terrorist act of America and the Zionists in martyring the leader of the Ummah, the martyred Ayatollah Khamenei (may his soul be sanctified), was a great crime against the Islamic Ummah and showed that the enemies of Islam spare no effort in striking at the unity of Muslims."
 
Sheikh Kan'ani stated: "The martyred Ayatollah Imam Khamenei was the axis of unity of the Islamic Ummah and the main supporter of the resistance front. The enemies think that the path of resistance will stop with the martyrdom of leaders, while the blood of the martyrs will strengthen the resolve of free nations to continue this path."
 
This Sunni scholar, describing the widespread presence of people at the funeral ceremony as a sign of national and Islamic solidarity, stated: "The passionate presence of the people, regardless of any ethnicity or religion, will send a clear message to the enemies that the Iranian nation stands united and firm in defense of the ideals of the revolution and resistance."
 
In conclusion, he emphasized: "Participation in the funeral of the martyred leader of the revolution is a symbol of the unity of the Islamic Ummah and the authority of the Iranian nation. I once again offer my condolences on this great tragedy to the Iranian nation and the Islamic world. Certainly, the path of dignity, resistance, and unity that the Supreme Leader of the revolution charted will continue with strength."
