In an interview with the Taqrib News Agency (TNA), Sheikh Taleb al-Khazraji, founder of the Islamic Center of Brazil, characterized the intellectual legacy of the late Leader, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, as centered on Islamic unity, resistance against global arrogance, the Palestinian cause, and the formation of a new Islamic civilization.

Al-Khazraji highlighted the Leader’s uncompromising stance against sectarianism, noting his formal religious decrees (fatwas) prohibiting insults against Sunni sanctities.
 
He emphasized that the Leader viewed unity not as a mere moral recommendation, but as a religious imperative and a strategic necessity to counter Western hegemony. By rejecting Takfiri ideologies and focusing on common Islamic principles—such as the Qur’an and the Sunnah—the Leader sought to unify the Muslim Ummah against a common enemy. According to al-Khazraji, this approach dismantled the tools of global arrogance and positioned unity as the ultimate safeguard for the Islamic world’s future.

Finally, he maintained that Palestine remains the axis of Islamic unity and resistance.
