With the Islamic Revolution, Approach of Its Leaders, Unity Became a Core Priority of Islamic World
A member of the Supreme Council of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought stated that the achievements of the Islamic Revolution are profound and far‑reaching; among them is the fact that, in the past, the issue of unity and cohesion among Islamic societies did not receive consistent or dedicated attention.

The Islamic Revolution and the Centrality of Unity
Hojjat al‑Islam Pourzahabi, congratulating the anniversary of the Islamic Revolution and emphasizing the need for unity and the use of its capacities, told Taghrib News Agency(TNA) that the Revolution played a significant role in strengthening unity.
He noted that one of the key factors in promoting unity has been the active presence of influential figures—those who were involved in the Revolution from the beginning and have continued to guide society. A New Era of Emphasis on Islamic Solidarity
Pourzahabi explained that the achievements of the Islamic Revolution are solid and extensive. Before the Revolution, the issue of ideological and structural unity among Islamic nations was not given the necessary importance, nor was it discussed consistently. With the blessing of the Islamic Revolution and the approach of its leaders, unity has become one of the principal concerns of Islamic societies. Institutional Efforts to Strengthen Unity
The Representative of the Supreme Leader in Kurdistan Province added that conferences, meetings, and exchanges among Islamic countries helped this concept gain legitimacy and recognition. He emphasized that these efforts must continue and expand so that unity can reach its full potential. The Role of Influential Figures in Guiding Society
The Friday Prayer Leader of Sanandaj stated that prominent and trusted figures in society—those whom people follow—play a crucial role in explaining and clarifying social issues. From the early days of the Revolution, many such individuals, including scholars, writers, and respected community leaders, contributed to strengthening unity despite attempts by others to create obstacles. He noted that, by God’s grace, unity has now reached an acceptable and promising stage.
He added that new influential figures must also be identified and engaged so that their capacities can be used to further advance Muslim unity. Islamic Unity Against Foreign Threats
Referring to American and Israeli rhetoric about war and threats, Pourzahabi stressed that Islamic societies must understand that any attack on an Islamic country is an attack on Islam itself and on the broader Muslim community. Today, an assault on Iran, Yemen, Iraq, or any other Muslim nation is a dangerous and unacceptable act. This is where Islamic unity must manifest itself and instill fear in global powers.
