The Savior and the Promised One Are Agreed Upon by All Religions

Sheikh Masoud Rahbar, the Sunni Friday Prayer Leader of Bandar Lengeh County, said in an interview with Taghrib News Agency(TNA), while emphasizing the importance of paying attention to the issue of the Promised Savior’s reappearance and matters related to the end times: Within Sunni sources and narrations, reference is made to the reappearance and the advent of a person from the lineage of the Prophet of Islam (PBUH) who will establish a global religion.

Therefore, the emergence of this great figure to establish justice and equity among humanity and to form a unified global government is an inevitable necessity.
Sheikh Rahbar explained that the point of commonality among beliefs is that this figure will appear at the end of time, and a world immersed in oppression, materialism, injustice, and corruption—devoid of spirituality—will be filled with justice and fairness. He will fulfill humanity’s essential need for divine and spiritual peace.
This Sunni scholar emphasized that he will come and confront the Dajjal, who leads humanity toward disbelief and irreligion, and he will save the world. He noted that the Prophet (PBUH), in part of his supplications, sought refuge in God from the evil of the Dajjal, which indicates that the emergence of the Promised Savior of humanity is a definite and necessary matter for the establishment of Islam throughout the world.
He added that attention must be given to this issue, as today’s world is thirsty for such hope. Scholars and intellectuals must play an active role in raising awareness among future generations—especially conscious, thoughtful young people and adolescents who are eager for truth and reality.
In conclusion, Sheikh Rahbar stressed that the issue of the Promised One and the Savior is not limited to Islamic denominations. It is a global and trans-religious matter that has been mentioned in other religions as well. Therefore, when the appointed time arrives and the conditions for the reappearance are prepared, he will come and deliver humanity from its suffering.
