Speaking to Taghrib News Agency(TNA), Barati said that the world is currently witnessing numerous crises, and the Middle East has become a battleground for global powers seeking influence. He noted that Western powers have entered the region with the hope of advancing their strategic objectives and that U.S. military movements—land, air, and naval—are part of a broader media campaign aimed at pressuring the people of the region, particularly the Islamic Republic of Iran.
He reiterated that such displays of force will not achieve their intended goals, arguing that they are primarily symbolic. At the same time, he cautioned against underestimating the intentions of the United States and Israel, stating that their actions demonstrate ongoing hostility toward the Islamic world, especially Iran, as an emerging global power.
Barati added that U.S. officials are aware of Iran’s defensive and military capabilities, which he believes are sufficient to deter or neutralize any potential attack. He said that Washington is therefore relying heavily on media influence to advance its agenda, but that global public awareness has increased, reducing the effectiveness of such efforts.
He concluded by emphasizing the need for vigilance and insight in confronting external plots, noting that although U.S. military deployments in the region are not new, it remains essential for the Islamic world to respond wisely to ongoing challenges.
