Iran’s Leader’s Call for Justice Is a Response to U.S. Lawlessness and Hegemony
In an interview with Taghrib News Agency(TNA), Qaisar Tarad, founder of the Islamic Friendship Association of Australia, praised the Leader’s statements, describing them as aligned with Qur’anic and Islamic values.

He said: “We Muslims believe that standing against injustice and oppression is a noble and deeply rooted principle in the Qur’an and the Sunnah. God describes us in the Qur’an as a community that enjoins good and forbids wrongdoing (Surah Al‑Imran, verses 104 and 110).”
He continued: “God clearly states: ‘Indeed, God commands justice and benevolence.’ Justice in Islam is a universal concept that encompasses all humanity. The Qur’an emphasizes impartiality and fairness, declaring: ‘O you who believe, stand firmly for justice and bear witness for God, even if it is against yourselves’ (Surah An‑Nisa, verse 135).”
Tarad added: “In this context, I welcome and commend the emphasis of Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, on the principle of resistance against oppressive global systems and his call for establishing a just order.”
He stressed: “These values are in complete harmony with the Qur’anic command to confront injustice and uphold justice.”
The founder of the Islamic Friendship Association of Australia noted: “The importance and timeliness of these remarks become even clearer when we consider the recent unlawful U.S. attack on Venezuela. President Donald Trump openly stated the motive behind this operation: ‘We will get the oil flowing the way we want… and we will take control of the country until we achieve what we consider a safe, proper, and measured transition.’”
He added: “Trump also announced that American oil companies would rebuild Venezuela’s oil infrastructure, with the costs to be covered by oil revenues. He further referred to a military strike against the Islamic Republic of Iran, which he framed in similarly aggressive terms—another example of U.S. militarism and disregard for international law.”
Referring to comments by U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, who said, ‘The United States can impose its will anytime and anywhere,’ Tarad stated: “Such remarks reflect a mindset rooted in domination, not justice; a mindset that stands in clear contradiction to international law and the fundamental principles of human rights.”
He emphasized: “Islam teaches us: ‘Be just, for that is closer to righteousness.’ The global community—the entire human family—needs to hear this important reminder from Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei regarding the timeless Islamic principles of justice and fairness.”
In conclusion, the founder of the Islamic Friendship Association of Australia said: “We must stand united against international lawlessness and the arrogance of power that disregards human dignity and national sovereignty. Our faith calls us to justice and benevolence—an essential message for a world witnessing the consequences of unrestrained power.”
