Gen. Soleimani dedicated his life for security across Muslim world

The Secretary-General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought hailed Iran’s counter-terror commander, Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani for dedicating his life to the security of the Islamic world and authentic Islamic values.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari, speaking on the anniversary of General Soleimani’s martyrdom, described Soleimani’s “school” as one of service without seeking fame, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
Shahriari emphasized that Soleimani was a unifying figure in both theory and practice, bringing together Islamic sects during the wars in Syria and Iraq against ISIS. He stressed that the Islamic world today needs unity more than ever, achievable by following the Prophet’s example in dealing with the community.
 
The senior cleric said,” He had deep heartfelt belief in unity and acted upon it in the field. In the wars in Syria and Iraq against Daesh terrorist group, Soleimani was able to bring together Islamic denominations and schools of thought and place them against the front of arrogance.”
 
Shahriari added,” Martyr Soleimani had a deep theoretical belief in the unity of the Islamic world and knew the enemy’s goals in pursuing division among Muslims.”
 
He continued,” Martyr Soleimani understood that the enemy was using division as a tool to advance its sinister plans, and with full awareness he entered the field to strengthen Islamic unity against these plots”, adding,” For this reason, through unity-building behavior, he gained the trust of all Islamic sects, and with this trust he succeeded in thwarting the enemy’s conspiracies through a united front of resistance.”
 
The Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought concluded,” Confronting the common enemy requires awareness, something Soleimani exemplified by understanding both hard and soft warfare. Soleimani’s unity-building approach earned the trust of diverse Islamic groups, enabling the resistance front to foil enemy plots.”
