Iranian MP stresses strengthening pillars of 12-day Israeli-imposed war

The legal advisor to Iran’s Parliament Speaker has emphasized that the country’s victory in the 12‑day war rested on three pillars: national solidarity, decisive and courageous leadership, and the defensive and missile power of the armed forces.
Iranian MP stresses strengthening pillars of 12-day Israeli-imposed war
Hujjat-ul-Islam Sayyed Mohammadreza Mirtajeddini, made the remarks in a reference to the recent speech by the Leader of Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, Taqrib News Agency (TNA) has quoted IQNA as saying.

Ayatollah Khamenei, in his recent televised address to the Iranian nation, urged the preservation of national unity as the foremost priority emphasizing while differences exist among social groups and political factions, the essential point is to stand together against the enemy, as we did during the 12‑day June war, when solidarity proved a key factor in national strength.

The Leader also pointed to the severe discrediting of the Israeli regime in the Gaza tragedy, describing it as one of the most significant disasters in the region’s history. He said the United States, by siding with Israel, has itself become deeply disgraced, as global public opinion recognizes that Israel could not commit such atrocities without U.S. support.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Mirtajeddini reiterated that Iran’s success in the 12‑day June war was built on:
  • National solidarity and unity
Decisive and effective leadership under the system of Velayat‑e Faqih
Defensive and missile capabilities of the armed forces

He stressed that these pillars must always be maintained and strengthened, warning that division and discord create openings for enemy exploitation.

Mirtajeddini highlighted another key theme of the Leader’s remarks: the increasing isolation of the United States.

Citing international evidence, he said that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is widely condemned as a war criminal for the killing of thousands of civilians in Gaza, while U.S. President Donald Trump is viewed globally as his chief supporter.

He added that Trump’s popularity has declined even within the United States, with some elites choosing to spend his presidency abroad to avoid his rhetoric and behavior.

The senior cleric argued that global resentment toward the U.S. stems from its support for Israel and its interventions worldwide, including attempts to exploit resources in Latin America.

He added that the Gaza war has further shaped global public opinion, exposing America’s true face.

He concluded that while Trump pretends as a peace‑seeker, his actions such as convening leaders in Sharm el‑Sheikh to claim credit for ceasefire efforts reveal contradictions.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Mirtajeddini noted that U.S. vetoes at the UN Security Council have consistently blocked resolutions against Israel, underscoring Washington’s alignment with Netanyahu’s policies.
