Mamousta Jalal Moradi, in an interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) stressed that national unity can serve as a strong chain protecting Iran’s diverse ethnic and religious communities against enemy conspiracies.
He emphasized the historic role of clerics in the “jihad of clarification” and said supporting the serving government paves the way for realizing the lofty ideals of the Islamic Revolution.
Moradi noted that the Leader’s statements on unity should be analyzed within the framework of a comprehensive and wise strategy.
According to him, the Leader’s vision presents unity both as a “religious duty” and a “national necessity,” forming a roadmap built on three pillars:
1- Shared Islamic-Iranian identity that can encompass all ethnicities and sects under one umbrella.
2- Equal rights for all citizens, fostering trust and a sense of belonging to the system.
3- Vigilance against enemy plots, which constantly aim to create divisions among Iranians. He warned that the enemy’s psychological warfare has reached its most complex form, making the role of clerics and intellectuals vital.
The senior scholar outlined three major responsibilities for religious scholars:
1- Jihad of clarification: explaining truths to the people with modern language and effective methods.
2- Raising media literacy: enabling society to distinguish reality from falsehood.
3-Strengthening hope and resistance: the antidote to enemy psychological operations.
Mamusta Moradi concluded that clerics must expose enemy conspiracies with clear and reasoned speech, reminding the people that just as they prevailed in the 12‑day war against the Zionist enemy, they will also triumph in this arena.
The comments by the prominent Sunni cleric came after the recent remarks by the Leader of Islamic Revolution where Ayatollah Khamenei highlighted three axes: boosting national solidarity, confronting enemy’s psychological warfare and also supporting for the servant government.
