Cleric: Solution to National Challenges Lies Within; Knowledge, Faith Secured Victory in the 12-Day War

“The war proved that when unity grows and the people stand together, and when our military forces act with full conviction—even at the cost of their lives—victory is achieved through a combination of knowledge and faith,” Qasemkhani said.

He described scenes where Iranian forces launched missiles knowing they would be martyred, highlighting the depth of their commitment.
Faith Complements Military Technology
Qasemkhani stressed that advanced military technology alone is not enough. “If our defense capabilities had not been strong, we would have faced defeat,” he said. “But even with the best technology, without the faith of our soldiers, those weapons would not have been used. Faith is what completes knowledge.”
He called for continued investment in both scientific advancement and spiritual strength, asserting that Iran’s problems cannot be solved by relying on foreign powers. “The solution is in our own hands,” he said. “Depending on outsiders—like the decade we spent waiting on the JCPOA—only imposes heavy costs on the country.”
A Call for National Self-Reliance
Qasemkhani urged policymakers and citizens alike to recognize the importance of internal capacity. “We must strengthen both our intellectual and spiritual foundations,” he said. “Foreign solutions are not the answer. True progress comes from within.”
