Islamic Unity and Anti-Arrogance Are Pillars of Iran’s National Dignity

In an interview with Taghrib News Agency(TNA), Mamusta Karimi reflected on the history of Iran’s struggle against tyranny, stating that November 4 should be preserved as a legacy of resistance in the minds and actions of the youth.
He referred to the 1979 takeover of the U.S. Embassy by students loyal to Imam Khomeini as a clear message to the world that the Iranian people would not tolerate foreign interference in their internal affairs.
Karimi stressed that the spirit of anti-arrogance stems from faith and Qur’anic teachings. “The Holy Qur’an calls on Muslims to stand against oppression,” he said, noting that Sunni Muslims have historically played a significant role in political and social resistance against imperialist regimes.
Highlighting the importance of unity among Muslims, he stated that Sunni scholars have consistently advocated for solidarity within the Islamic Ummah and have worked to form a united front against global arrogance.
He described resistance to hegemonic powers not only as a religious obligation but also as a rational necessity. “Islamic logic is built on defending the oppressed and standing against injustice,” he said. “As long as nations seek independence, the hostility of arrogant powers will persist.”
Mamusta Karimi emphasized the need to educate the younger generation about the values of the Islamic Revolution and the culture of resistance. “Passing on the achievements of the revolution ensures the continued path of dignity and independence for the country,” he added.
In conclusion, he praised the strong turnout of Baneh’s citizens in the November 4 rallies, stating: “Every step taken in this path is a stride toward divine satisfaction and honoring the blood of martyrs. Once again, the Iranian people have sent a powerful message of dignity and defiance to the world.”
