In an interview with Tagthrib News Agency(TNA), Barati addressed current developments, particularly the ceasefire between Hamas and the Zionist regime: “History and experience have shown that any ceasefire brokered by the Zionists and Americans is inherently fragile and weak.”
He continued: “After two years of war and bloodshed in Gaza, Palestine, and other Islamic countries, the Zionists realized their own vulnerability and turned to their patrons to find a way out of the quagmire they themselves created.”
Barati stressed: “The ceasefire signed today between the Zionist regime and Gaza will undoubtedly not last. As we see in the news, the regime continues to assassinate Palestinian fighters. This proves that the ceasefire, brokered by the U.S. and other nations, is merely a breathing space for the Zionist regime.”
He added: “No rational mind believes that a ceasefire between the Zionist regime and Gaza will endure. Sooner or later, under any pretext, the Zionists will break it—as history has repeatedly shown their pattern of betrayal.”
Barati stated: “A peaceful Palestine, a peaceful Lebanon, and a peaceful Islamic world are not what the Zionists and Americans desire. The fire of sedition ignited by the Zionist regime and its patrons will not be extinguished. Therefore, we must not be deceived by this ceasefire or leave the Zionist enemy unchecked.”
He concluded: “Even if the Zionist regime appears to accept the ceasefire, in reality it continues its malicious and aggressive plans in secret. The Islamic world—especially Arab countries—must remain alert to Zionist movements and avoid falling for the rhetoric of Trump and other Western powers. Complacency and gullibility in the face of hostile nations can deliver severe blows to the Islamic world and the unity of Muslims.”
