Sunni Cleric: Today, the Islamic Ummah Needs Unity and a Return to the Qur’an and Sunnah More Than Ever

He stated: “The mission of scholars, students of religion, and clerics is the same as that of the prophets: to call people toward God, spread knowledge, and reform society. I advise students of religion to remain committed to the divine call and to walk the path of reform and goodwill with noble character, gentle speech, and faithful conduct.”

He added: “Sunni scholars and students, wherever they may be, must never forget the remembrance of God and service to humanity. A true preacher is one who first reforms himself and then works to reform others—just as the Almighty says: ‘O you who believe! Why do you say what you do not do? It is most hateful in the sight of Allah that you say what you do not do.’”
This Sunni cleric stressed: “Today, more than ever, the Islamic Ummah needs unity, awareness, and a return to the Qur’an and the Sunnah. The enemies seek division, and it is the duty of scholars and clerics to be the standard-bearers of unity, compassion, and Islamic awakening.”
He continued: “We must strengthen the bonds of brotherhood among Muslims through knowledge and wisdom, with love and patience. Challenges and hardships will surely arise along this path, but the divine mission is one of perseverance and endurance. If the intention is sincere and for the sake of God, He will surely open the doors of success.”
He concluded: “We must strive to preserve this great legacy, reinforce unity and love among scholars and the Ummah, and uphold the banner of knowledge and divine invitation with honesty and devotion.”
