“Islamic unity is a foundational principle established by the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) upon his arrival in Medina. It must be translated into every language so that all nations can benefit from the sincere and responsible voices calling for solidarity.”
Khushnaw criticized the silence of Muslim communities in the face of atrocities in Gaza: “Muslims are under immense pressure from hostile forces. But more importantly, the failure of Islamic scholars—who carry the prophetic mission—to convey the true essence of Islam has led to widespread misunderstanding within the Ummah.”
He stressed the critical role of scholars in raising awareness: “The enemy exploits these shortcomings to sow division among Muslims and advance its agenda. Scholars must awaken public consciousness and counter these schemes.”
On fostering responsibility within the Islamic world, Khushnaw praised Iran’s efforts: “The Islamic Republic of Iran has taken meaningful steps by convening annual gatherings that provide a platform for dialogue and strategic planning toward unity.”
He underscored the power of faith in confronting adversity: “True believers fear nothing. Iran has shown that even against powerful enemies, courage and reliance on God make confrontation possible. As the Qur’an says, ‘How often a small group has overcome a large group by God’s permission.’”
Khushnaw drew parallels with historical examples: “Those connected to God do not hesitate. Even with limited strength, they can prevail. Imam Hussein’s martyrdom was a profound victory, and we saw similar resolve during the recent 12-day war, when Iran faced targeted attacks on key figures but responded with patience and leadership.”
He added: “Faith and fearlessness empower individuals to confront the greatest challenges. Resistance may be weakened temporarily by sieges or media warfare, but it continues—whether in Iraq or elsewhere. A free person remains free anywhere.”
Khushnaw concluded by commending Iran’s unwavering support: “It is now evident that the Islamic Republic of Iran supports Muslims everywhere without expecting anything in return. It has made great sacrifices in this path, standing firmly with the oppressed across the globe.”
