Sunni Cleric: Strengthening Comprehensive Unity Is Vital

“Unity must be the cornerstone of any ideal Islamic society. It is the frontline of the Muslim world. If we seek a modern, principled Islamic community, unity must guide our collective affairs.”
Rasti warned that global powers aim to exploit divisions among Muslims to access their resources and undermine their sovereignty: “To prevent foreign domination over Muslim wealth, we must strengthen inclusive unity across the Islamic world.”
He stressed that leaders in Islamic countries must adhere to divine commandments and the prophetic tradition: “Ignoring God’s guidance in confronting the enemies of Islam will result in irreversible loss for the Ummah.”
Rasti urged Muslim communities to counter the coordinated efforts of hostile forces with brotherhood and mutual respect: “The enemy acts in unison and seeks to sow discord among us. We must remain vigilant and protect the unity that has been earned through sacrifice.”
He concluded by calling for strategic cooperation between Shia and Sunni communities: “Success lies in shared purpose. Shia and Sunni must be in the same vessel—analyzing threats, recognizing opportunities, and planning together for the future of the Islamic world. It is the duty of scholars and citizens alike to be timely, united, and visionary.”
