​​​​​​​Speaking to Taghrib News Agency(TNA), Ibn al-Khayyat emphasized that the loss of such a prominent figure was a profound grief for Muslims, especially in the region.

He noted that for over three decades, Martyr Nasrallah stood at the forefront of the struggle against colonialism, oppression, and tyranny, defending the rights of the Palestinian people and the sanctity of al-Quds.
He added that Nasrallah was a leader of the people and for the people in Lebanon, and that Hezbollah has consistently supported Gaza and the Palestinian nation with full force. While his martyrdom left a deep void, its most significant impact was exposing the true nature of imperialism—led by the United States and the Zionist regime—which has spared no effort in its attempts to destroy Gaza, Palestine, and the broader Islamic Ummah.
Ibn al-Khayyat pointed to the use of advanced military technology in the assassination of this resistance commander, stating that it revealed the determination of imperial powers to eliminate Islamic resistance. “Today, the Islamic Ummah clearly understands that the West—especially the United States—cannot be trusted, as it has always sought division and destruction within the Muslim world,” he said.
He continued by asserting that global imperialism never ceases its crimes against Muslims. Any leader at the helm of resistance—whether in Gaza or Hezbollah—is a target for assassination. This reality, he said, exposes the terrorist nature of imperialism and underscores the need to defend the resistance with even greater resolve.
Emphasizing the necessity of unity among Muslims in the face of global oppression, Ibn al-Khayyat declared: “The martyrdom of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and other resistance commanders has not weakened the resistance front. On the contrary, it has reinvigorated it. The Islamic Ummah must support the resistance with full strength to ensure its continued growth.”
In conclusion, he stated that the intellectual legacy of Martyr Nasrallah has made it clear that the path of resistance must never be abandoned. “As the Holy Qur’an affirms, the Zionist regime is the principal enemy of the Islamic Ummah. We must stand firm against this adversary by supporting the resistance front. God willing, through steadfast resistance, true Islam will rise and shine.”
