He emphasized that these violations have intensified over time.
Speaking to Taghrib News Agency during(TNA) at Unity Week—an event hosted by the Islamic Republic of Iran that brings together scholars and intellectuals from across the Muslim world—Tawanah praised Iran’s efforts to foster dialogue and solidarity. He noted that such gatherings allow scholars to discuss the state of the Islamic world and the current situation in Gaza, often proposing practical solutions.
Tawanah asserted that the Islamic world is now fully awakened, and the global arrogance has lost its grip. He accused Western powers of seeking dominance by destabilizing Yemen, Lebanon, Iran, and other Islamic nations. Referring to Iran’s victory in the recent 12-day conflict, he described it as a decisive blow to the hegemony of Israel and its allies.
He further argued that the vision of a “Greater Israel” has collapsed, calling it a mere illusion. According to Tawanah, the Abraham Accords—brokered under former U.S. President Donald Trump and involving normalization between some Islamic countries and Israel—have lost their relevance. He called for the establishment of a “Mohammadi Pact” to counter sworn enemies of the Islamic world.
Tawanah urged all authentic Islamic forces to unite in support of the resistance front. He criticized certain leaders of Islamic countries for aligning with the occupying Israeli regime, contrasting them with scholars and intellectuals who stand with the oppressed and uphold true Islamic values.
In conclusion, he declared that Israel will never achieve its goal of a unified state encompassing parts of Islamic lands. He cited the aftermath of the Second Al-Aqsa Operation, noting Israel’s failure to achieve strategic objectives such as targeting Iran, subjugating Lebanon, destroying Yemen, occupying Gaza, or freeing its captives. Despite extensive efforts by Israel and its allies, he credited the Islamic Republic of Iran—under the leadership of the Supreme Leader—with dismantling the regime’s aura of invincibility and inspiring other nations to reject its hollow dominance.
