In an interview with Taghrib News Agency(TNA), Akhound Ghezal emphasized the vital role of elites in fostering unity within Islamic communities.

He called on scholars and religious figures to set aside divisive issues and insults to sacred symbols, instead focusing on the shared principles that unite all Muslims. He specifically highlighted the need for a unified stance on the oppression of Palestine, urging public opinion, especially among the youth, to prioritize the issues of Palestine and Gaza.
Ghezal described unity as an obligatory duty for the Islamic community, one that is highly recommended by God in the Quran and by the Prophet of Islam (PBUH). He added that achieving unity requires all ethnic groups and schools of thought to practice self-sacrifice and prioritize collective interests over personal gain.
He suggested practical strategies for strengthening unity, such as establishing a single currency among Islamic countries, similar to the euro in Europe, to create common interests and greater cohesion.
Ghezal concluded by stating that the leadership and authority of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution is a source of unity, and the Islamic community can move closer to one another and away from global arrogance by relying on his wisdom.
