Jihad Saadi, member of Lebanon’s Association of Muslim Scholars said, in an interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA), that the aggression, like many other oppressive atrocities occurred throughout history, was followed by failure of the oppressors with Iran becoming more resolute, powerful and honored.
He demanded,” Whan decades of sanction could not isolate the Islamic Republic of Iran, then how can bombs do?” stressing that the Israeli aggression caused the voice of Tehran and the Iranian nation, who is fighting for its independence and sovereignty, is heard.”
Regarding Iran’s stance in the region and across the globe, he said,” The stance of Tehran was heightened not due to its military might but through its determination and honor.”
He added,” Anyone with the least loyalty for resistance found itself close to Tehran; therefore, Gaza, Beirut, Sanaa and Najaf are not merely names, they are parts of the new world that does not submit to Washington and Tel Aviv.”
Jihad Saadi said,” Iran, following the Israeli attack, is not merely a country but a symbol whose stance testifies the world’s political behavior; hence, he who stands by Iran is in fact joining other nations and he who opposes it has opted for dishonor.”
The Lebanese cleric emphasized,” The repeated claims of victory over Iran by the US President Donald Trump is not a media hype or political narcissism but it conveys several messages, some of which electoral, some for the US nation and the rest addressing the entire globe.”
He continued,” Trump’s claims of victory vis-à-vis Iran does not serve the truth well. It is a political means, an amalgamation of electoral mottoes, strategic messages and mental preparation in face of rivals and enemies of Washington yet it reveals a key point: that Iran remains the main axis in the US political agenda and also the main topic for the debates during the upcoming election debates.”
