An Iranian Sunni scholar has hailed the third Shia Imam as a role model of brevity who revived moral values.

Mamusta Uthman Yousefi highlighted the special loyalty of the Sunni community for Imam Hussein (AS) third Shia Imam and grandson of Imam Hussein(AS), reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

He said," The third Shia Imam fought some deviations imposed on the religion and revived the true Islam brought by Prophet Mohammad (PBUH)".

He said," Another objective of Imam Hussein (AS) was establishment of a just system as the third Shia Imam was the role model of brevity, sacrifice who promoted culture of martyrdom."

He said," The uprising by I.am Hussein(AS) and the war the Islamic Republic fought with Israeli regime is the systematic oppression backed by other powers."

The cleric  called for vigilance in face of enemies saying that the ceasefire Israeli regime requested due to its depleting defense capabilities should not deceive us."
