“Ghadir axis of unity among Muslims”, cleric

An Iranian cleric has called the affection for Ahlul Bayt (AS), household of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), as a commonality among all Islamic denominations stressing that as the reason why the occasion could boost solidarity among all Islamic denominations.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Alireza Imani Moghaddam, the member of the academic board of the University of Islamic Denominations, noted that Ghadir Eid is rooted in holy Qur’an, lifestyle of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and Ahlul Bayt (AS), stressing the occasion as the grounds for solidarity among Muslims, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
The cleric made the remarks in an interview conducted on the eve of Ghadir Eid which marks the day when Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) introduced Imam Ali (AS) as his successor and the leader of the Islamic nation after himself.
 
He called Imam Ali (AS) as a person beyond religions and denominations and a high character belonging to all people.
 
According to the top cleric, responsibility, justice seeking and admission of imamate are the central messages of Ghadir.
 
Hujjat-ul-Islam Imani Moghaddam noted that Ghadir Eid is an extension of the prophethood and a day when the religion of Islam was completely conveyed to Muslims.
