Islamic unity, a God-given gift highlighted by Imam Khomeini
The Friday prayer leader of Bandar Gaz, in Iran’s Golestan province, said late Imam Khomeini (RA) underlined Islamic unity as a God-given gift.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Einullah Shahabi, made the remarks in an interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) conducted on the eve of the 36th passing anniversary of the late leader of Islamic Revolution.
He called Islamic unity and synergy are among the key blessings of God Almighty that must be carefully protected vowing that the Islamic nation will be safe from hostile plots as far as the Islamic solidarity is protected.
The Iranian cleric said unity among Muslims, like all the other blessings, is a God-given privilege which the late founder of Islamic Revolution called as a “miracle”.
Hujjat-ul-Islam Shahabi stressed importance of unity and convergence among Muslims and said,” This solidarity and synergy is interwoven withing the Islamic nation.”
He noted that the unity between Shia and Sunni communities as a key belief in Iran and a principle in view of Ahlul Bayt (AS), household of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).
