Liberation of Khorramshahr Happened Through Sacrifice, Efforts of All Iranian Ethnicities
Mamusta Mamad Kalshinejad, in an interview with the Taghrib News Agency, congratulated the anniversary of the liberation of Khorramshahr, stating, "As Imam Khomeini, the founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, said, 'Khorramshahr was liberated by God.' If we look back at the situation in the early days of the Islamic Revolution, considering the instability in the country at that time, the enemies of Islam were sharpening their teeth to eliminate this fledgling revolution."

He emphasized that, based on this, Saddam Hussein was incited to attack Iran in order to seize our sacred land and claim a part of Iran's geography for himself, leading to an invasion by the Ba'ath army.
The Sunni Friday prayer leader of Urmia said, "Ultimately, after a long period of sacrifice and relentless efforts by the children of this land, free from all ethnic divisions—Kurdish, Turkish, Arab, and Persian—this liberation occurred."
He continued, "Throughout history, due to the weak governance in Iran, whenever our country was attacked, parts of it were lost. However, during the liberation of Khorramshahr, the children of Islamic Iran, with their religious strength and commitment to jihad in the path of God, did not allow even an inch of this sacred land to fall into enemy hands, and the territory that had been invaded was returned to Islamic Iran."
