Speaking to Taqrib News Agency (TNA), Mamusta Mokhtar Faraji, the prayer leader of Dar-ul-Ihsan Mosque in Sanandaj, hailed the late Iranian president for constant trips, particularly to the remote areas across the country and his serious pursuit of the public issues.
He praised the late president for his indiscriminate view on the different ethnical groups and denominations and said,” President Raeisi maintained the diversity of ethnical groups as an opportunity for fraternity and solidarity among people.”
The Friday prayer leader of Sanandaj Mosque noted president Raeisi’s wisdom in foreign policy when he began moves to expand ties with the eastern bloc despite threats from the west.
He lauded the strategic achievements the late president made amid the anti-Iran sanctions when he endeavored to join Iran in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and leading emerging economies, BRICS.
Mamusta Faraji said,” President Raeisi was the only official who held a copy of holy Qur’an at the UN General Assembly to talk about justice and Islamic fraternity and condemned the genocide in Gaza and Lebanon.
