In an interview with Taghrib News Agency(TNA), he said, "Disavowal of polytheists is one of the important goals of Hajj, which must be practically manifested this year. Pilgrims should use this time to convey the message of unity and the suffering of the people of Gaza to all of humanity."
Referring to the state of the Islamic world and the genocide perpetrated by the occupying Israeli regime in Palestine, he continued, "God has provided a tremendous social capacity in the form of worship for Muslims around the world, allowing all Muslims to gather at a specific time and place to share their experiences for greater unity in the Islamic world."
The member of the Cultural Commission of the Iranian Parliament emphasized that Hajj has a significant capacity to strengthen the Islamic Ummah, stating, "If today the Islamic world were united against the occupying Israeli regime, we would not witness the brutal massacre of innocent Palestinian women and children."
The representative of Mashhad in the Parliament expressed hope that this year's Hajj would be an Abrahamic pilgrimage, asserting, "The people of Gaza hope that this year's Hajj will be a pilgrimage of disavowal from the aggressive Israel, as in the current circumstances, disavowal from polytheists is intertwined with disavowal from global imperialism."
Hojjatoleslam "Hasan Ali Akhlaqi" emphasized the importance of social justice in Islamic countries, calling for attention to the personal, social, and humanitarian dimensions of this concept, as the individual actions of pilgrims in the context of worship symbolize disavowal from global imperialism.
In conclusion, he stressed the necessity of participating in the ceremonies of disavowal from polytheists and other collective worship events, stating, "Avoiding shopping and purchasing from markets that may benefit the enemies of Islam will help pilgrims fulfill their duties correctly in the face of the enemy."
