Sunni Cleric: Persian Gulf is Rooted in Iranian Civilization and Culture
He remarked that the Persian Gulf has belonged to the Iranians for many centuries, and there are credible documents to support this claim.

Mowlavi Rigianpour asserted, "The Iranian people will never accept this name change because it is deeply embedded in the culture and civilization of our people."

He added that this name change is a conspiracy by imperialist forces aimed at diminishing Iran's power, particularly in controlling the waters of the Persian Gulf, so they can claim this vital maritime region for themselves.

The Sunni Imam of Mirjaveh stated that our officials should not allow such changes and audacity from the enemies and must file a case in international courts and lodge a complaint, as Iran possesses strong and credible documents in this regard.

He noted, "The Persian Gulf will remain the Persian Gulf forever, and we must remain vigilant against the sinister objectives of imperialism in the region."

In conclusion, Mowlavi Rigianpour emphasized that some of America's allied countries are pursuing Iran's three islands and have repeatedly commented on this issue. Any conspiracy or plot against Iran's territorial integrity is condemned.
