Iranian cleric highlights solidarity, moderation based on Islamic principles
A prominent Iranian Sunni cleric has stressed necessity of highlighting religious commonalities and beliefs derived from science across the world of Islam.

Akhoond Abdul Jabbar Mirabi, the manager of Qareh Tappeh Sunni seminary in Iran’s Golestan province, said in an interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) that in a world of diverse views, denominations and ethnicities, we (Muslims) must rely on our commonalities.
He stressed importance of dialogue with all walks of life, Islamic denominations and elites from across the world of Islam as a way to boost Muslim unity.
Akhoond Mirabi said,” Muslim scholars and scientists across the world of Islam must make the best of these opportunities and underline the commonalities among different Islamic denominations.”
He expressed hope that moderation and solidarity to prevail in Muslim world and said,” Expanding the culture of proximity within the body of Islamic nation, will further reveal the great potentiality of Muslims.”
The senior Iranian cleric called on all Muslims to follow the lifestyle of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and the heavenly commands in holy Qur’an and also promote the culture of coexistence and equality among themselves.
