Lebanese scholar in an interview with Taghrib:

Iran has always been a herald of unity and a defender of the important issues of Islamic Ummah

Sheikh Ibrahim Mustafa Al-Bureidi, the Secretary of the Gathering of Muslim Scholars in Lebanon, said in an interview with the Taghrib news agency(TNA): "We are the Ummah of Tawhid (monotheism). The God has no partners, and any call other than this is a departure from the realm of truth and a violation of God's laws in creation." This is evident in the Tawaf (circumambulation) around the Kaaba, where Muslims circle the Kaaba seven times. The number of Tawaf corresponds to the number of heavens and the earth, and everything that exists in the universe revolves in this path; thus, Tawaf is a participation in God's laws in all creation.

The second point is that Islamic brotherhood overcomes tribalism, race, and ethnicity, and a Muslim should view his brother from this perspective. In this case, all forms of superiority and division will be removed from Islam and Muslims. The third point is to uphold the Prophet's (PBUH) will during the Farewell Pilgrimage, which emphasizes the denial of polytheism and tribalism, and governance based on justice and benevolence, as well as helping the weak and not returning to the era of ignorance.
 
He referred to the statements of Ayatollah Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, during a meeting with Hajj officials, noting: "He is a leader, a custodian, and a protector of divine limits. He strives for the unity of the Islamic Ummah and advises people to support Islamic issues, foremost among them the Palestinian cause."
 
The Secretary of the Gathering of Muslim Scholars in Lebanon pointed out: "Regarding the most important features of this year's Hajj compared to previous years, we must announce to the world that our rituals are unchangeable in terms of time and place, and Hajj will remain the largest gathering and conference of the Islamic Ummah. We must resist and stand against the aggressions of the Zionist regime and their supporters, as well as the aggressions against Islamic and Arab countries. We must save what remains in Gaza and prevent the fragmentation of Islamic and Arab countries, making their unity our goal."
