Yemeni Analyst in an Interview with Taghrib:

Yemen Will Change the Face of the Region and the World

"Hamid Abdul Qadir Antar," a writer and political and strategic analyst from Yemen, discussed the recent ceasefire agreement between Yemen and the U.S., its motivations, and consequences in an interview with the Taghrib News Agency(TNA).
Yemen Will Change the Face of the Region and the World
He noted that the U.S. deployed its aircraft carriers and warships to the Red Sea, targeting Yemen's important urban and economic infrastructure with over two thousand flights of brazen terrorist attacks, bombing oil facilities in the Ras Isa port, factories, urban infrastructure, and residential neighborhoods with internationally banned weapons.
He pointed out that the U.S. undertook these aggressions with the aim of breaking the siege of the Zionist regime, believing it could achieve its goals by bombing urban infrastructure and striking Yemen's military capabilities. However, the coalition with the Zionist regime and the UK resulted in failure, and despite extensive attacks and the use of internationally banned weapons, they suffered a humiliating defeat and did not achieve any of their objectives.
Abdul Qadir Antar stated that after failing to achieve their goals in Yemen, the U.S. and the Zionist regime turned to Oman and requested it to mediate for a deal. According to this agreement, the U.S. would stop its aggressions against Yemen, and in return, Yemen would end its military attacks on U.S. ships and aircraft carriers, while the U.S. would not interfere in the siege of the Zionist regime. Consequently, Trump announced the cessation of aggressions against Yemen and, in turn, the cessation of Yemen's attacks on its ships, stating that Yemen would limit itself to the siege of the Zionist regime at sea and prevent the passage of its ships in the Red Sea.
This Yemeni analyst mentioned that the Zionist regime was taken by surprise by the cessation of U.S. aggressions against Yemen, considering it a crushing defeat for the U.S. and the Zionists.
Regarding the implications of this U.S. decision, he stated that the agreement between the U.S. and Yemen will certainly impact the issues of Yemen and Palestine, advancing negotiations between Yemen and Saudi Arabia and facilitating a roadmap between Yemen and Saudi Arabia that guarantees the end of the siege, the reopening of airports and ports, the establishment of a reconstruction fund, and non-interference by Saudi Arabia in Yemen's affairs. Additionally, Trump will pressure the criminal Netanyahu to stop his aggressions against Gaza, allow humanitarian aid to enter, and engage in political discussions with Hamas and the Zionist regime, as well as the release of prisoners.
This Yemeni analyst emphasized that Yemen will continue its military operations against the Zionist regime in the Red Sea and against Zionist targets in occupied Palestine as long as their aggressions against Gaza continue and until humanitarian aid reaches Gaza.
