Islamic nation must be in constant pursuit of unity, fraternity
A senior Iranian prayer leader called on Muslim nation to avoid tensions among themselves urging for constant pursuit of unity in the world of Islam.

Molavi Gholam Heidar Faroughi, the prayer leader of Sunni community in Iran’s city of Birjand, in an interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA), stressed that any move to boost solidarity among members of the Islamic nation can bring convergence and Islamic unity.
He warned that distancing from the common principles among Islamic communities and values could lead to great losses for the Muslims.
The senior cleric also highlighted necessity of respectful talks and mutual respect for sanctities of other denominations as part of efforts to maintain honor.
He expressed hope that the Islamic nation, namely the Iranian people, protect honor and unity among themselves and promote kindness and fraternity in order to prevent any tension.
