Cleric: Strengthening Unity and Human Dignity Leads to Cohesion and Synergy of Islamic Ummah

He stated that any strengthening of unity and human dignity, alongside love and affection, can lead to the cohesion and synergy of the Islamic Ummah.
Mawlānā Farūqī remarked: Naturally, distancing from these common principles among Islamic communities and Islamic values can have detrimental consequences for Muslims.
This Sunni scholar stressed that respect and emphasis on dialogue accompanied by respect for the beliefs and sanctities among Muslims and the elders of Islam can be a special focus in the matter of upholding dignity.
He noted: Another important issue is that the Islamic Ummah should always have goodwill, love, and mutual support for one another, as the practice of unity must be based on honoring individuals, especially Muslim brothers, and respecting sanctities should be prioritized. Thus, as we have seen from the early days of Islam to the present and in Iranian culture, the issue of ethical conduct and behavior, and reliance on the best human qualities, and the matter of dignity has always been significant and noteworthy.
He emphasized: God willing, the Islamic Ummah, especially the noble people of Iran, will act upon the issue of dignity and reinforce unity among the Islamic community, as well as create kindness, affection, and friendship within society, avoiding issues that create division and tension, and always striving for unity, friendship, and brotherhood.
