Quds Day commemoration, awakening for Muslims, younger generation

Senior Iranian cleric highlighted role of International Quds Day in boosting Islamic unity stressing that marking the event will awaken Muslims and the younger generation.


Hujjat-ul-Islam Mohammad Hussein Mokhtari, director of the University of Islamic Denominations in an interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) related on importance of International Quds Day amid the current crisis in the besieged Palestinian lands.
 
He noted the utmost oppression against the Palestinians and said,” To mark the International al-Quds Day will certainly foil the plots for the so-called New World Order also known as the conspiracy theory proposed by the United States.”
 
Director of the University of Islamic Denominations noted,” Commemoration of the International al-Quds Day will clearly lead to awakening of Muslims and enlightenment of the younger generations” and added,” This proves that the occupied lands belong to the Palestinian people and they should return to their ancestral lands.”
 
Hujjat-ul-Islam Mokhtari noted the role of al-Quds Day in boosting Islamic unity and said,” Marking al-Quds Day will lead to return of Muslims to Islam and awakening of the Muslim nation.”
 
Top Iranian cleric made the comments on the eve of the International al-Quds Day which is marked on the last Friday of Ramadan.
