On the eve of 33rd Islamic Unity Conference:

“Islamic Unity Conference, meeting for compassionate Muslim nations”, Shariati

Representative of the major Islamic unity center in Iran slammed the arrogant powers in Washington and Tel Aviv for plotting against Islamic nation and called the Islamic Unity Conference as opportunity for compassion and solidarity among Muslim states.

Effat Shariati, representative of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, in an interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) conducted on the eve of the 33rd Islamic Unity Conference in Tehran called the annual event as a meeting for expressing compassion and unity among Muslim states following all denominations.
 
She said,” Al-Aqsa is the first Qibla (praying direction) of Muslims and naturally the current arrogant government in Washington and Tel Aviv regime are plotting against Islamic unity and materialization of the Muslim objectives.”
 
She said the 2019 Islamic Unity Conference is scheduled to discuss al-Aqsa Mosque as its main theme in line with all hostile plots to hijack the Islamic sanctity.
 
“Islamic Unity Conference is capable of leading us from national solidarity to international unity” said Effat Shariati.
 
Representative of the Supreme Leader hailed Islamic Republic of Iran as a vast country housing followers of different religions to freely practice their religious beliefs.
 
She expressed regret over ignorant rulers who damage the image of Islam in the international arena and move in line with benefits of the Tel Aviv regime while Muslims are in dire need of uniting with each other.
