Islam Prophet is the Symbol of Unity: Ayatollah Araki

Secretary of the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought Ayatollah Mohsen Araki placed emphases on the telling role of Islam Prophet (PBUH) in upkeeping rapprochement and underscored the infallible Prophet (PBUH) is the symbol of Unity, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

According to Ayatollah Araki, one of enemies’ objectives is to insult Muhammad Prophet (PBUH) so as to increase dispersion in the World of Islam and in the lond run advance their baneful aims in the region.

The twenty-eighth international Islamic unity conference was held from 7th Until 10th of January 2015, with the presence of great thinkers and intellectuals to foil the hatched plots of enemies in this and related areas. The main themes of the conference were Palestine and Gaza, Islamic unity (it's necessity, components and element), sectarian strife and extremist.

Speaking in a press conference on the achievements made in the 28th Intenational Islamic Unity Conference under the banner of “Islamic United Ummah, Challenges and Strategies” held during the Unity Week, the religious cleric underscored the conference was mounted and held qualitatively and quantitatively different from its previous events.

The seasoned Islamic unity activist went on to add, “more than a thousand prominent faces of World of Islam partook in the event and of those, 450 faces were from other countries.”

Ayatollah Araki beckoned to some programs forwarded during the conference. In his term, different commotions were held among Shia and Sunni thinkers so as to lay the ground form them to review their problems and come up with efficient roadmaps to reason them out.

According to religious clerics in the event, the issue of unity should be internalized among the laity and malevolent tension of enemies along with their mendacious policies, which run counter to their litany of rules about human rights, should be unmasked for Muslims worldwide.

In this regard and to fulfill this very objective, Ayatollah Araki stressed, “the youth were counted [in the event] as an efficient stratums in the area of unity and a special commission was established for them.”

Elsewhere in his remarks, Secretary of the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought lividly slammed the gruesome measures and odious moves against Muslim nations.

Ayatollah Araki underscored one of the main strategies of enemies is increasing dispersions and enmity among Muslims and to advance this and malign the divine religion of Islam, they aim at Islam Prophet (PBUH).
