A Lebanese scholar and researcher underlines that the teachings of the holy Quran were manifest in the character of the late founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

In a paper, a copy of which IQNA has obtained, Mina Sukriya says the beliefs, thoughts, behavior, actions and character of Imam Khomeini (RA) were based on the teachings and tenets of the Holy Quran.
 
She stresses that the Quranic teachings were manifest in the Imam Khomeini’s character and conduct.
She says Imam Khomeini’s light that shone on the Iranian society and the result was the great Islamic Revolution.

“The Islamic Revolution, led to victory by Imam Khomeini, discredited following the East and the West,” she states, adding that the revolution was a turning point in the history of humanity.

Elsewhere in the paper, Ms. Sukriya says Imam Khomeini believed that implementing the teachings and tenets of the Quran in society requires contemplating the verses of the Holy Book.

“He also described it as necessary to reflect on Quranic verses in order to reach the Sirat al-Mustaqim (The Straight Path),” she goes on to say.
